Good advice…I met someone else who was a landlord, ran his own business in his own way, collected every last dime himself. If, he said, he was not paid in full in the way he was supposed to, he did the very same thing, he said, and he said it worked VERY consistently. If these people were short enough on funds so that they could not afford to pay him rent, they absolutely JUMPED on the chance to get as much of the landlord’s money as they could….based on that concept, big surprise, right???
Very good advice. From my personal experience you do NOT want to get sucked into the ‘landlording’ trap. My best experiences have been managing properties at arms length through a management company.
Like Dave said, just make sure that you account for the management fees when you get into a property.

Dave, that’s REAL good advice, i’ll consider giving $ to the tenant when I plan to evict them in future.
