“Some people are born to lead” how many times have you heard this saying? I’m sure many times! Some people can’t work under other’s pressures (they feel like ruling or taking decisions for everybody probably because they love to lead) while some can’t work like a leader. Every human is different from each other. However in practical life a person, who has the ability to lead, succeeds.
Whether you are an owner, manager, principal, house wife or man of the house, you need to have leadership qualities in order to lead your team. This is very important and that is why today I will share some basic qualities and characteristics of a successful leader and why he is unique.
The following are the qualities of a successful leader:
• The most foremost quality a leader should have is to have patience to listen to what his associates say. A healthy communication between a leader and assistant requires feedback about what they feel. The leader should have the capability to hear & understand what his or her team says. All successful leaders are the best listeners!
• Successful leaders realize that there are mistakes, are open to changes and they also appreciate and acknowledge their team member regularly. This motivates the employees and makes them love work.
• You must know all of your customers and employees. A successful leader knows about every individual working in his workplace. He knows that if he keeps a good relation with his associates etc, then he will be trusted and he himself will know whom he can trust.
• You must have heard “opposites attract”, well in my view they don’t! People who think alike, do things alike actually get along well. A successful leader would try hiring those employees who think like them.
• Leaders actually know what they are best at. They know what they can do and they act like role models and then they ask others to do the things in the same manner. Moreover a leader knows what he is NOT good at and has everybody work in a team so its better that a leader knows what area he excels in and can delegate to others.
• Successful leaders are optimistic and they believe in themselves.
• Passion is something which makes a leader successful.
• Lastly successful leaders are the ones who wait for the results after putting in loads of effort.

There is a common belief that only few people that have the desired attributes can be entrepreneurs, but this is not true. Entrepreneurship is for everyone and there are numerous reasons for supporting this statement. The first and the foremost reason in this regard is that everyone has a dream which they want to fulfill or at least have a desire to improve their quality of living. This perception of human beings leads to encouragement for working hard and getting what they want, this perception is commonly known as intuition. It is a kind of potential in human beings that leads to creative imagination
Human beings are the best creation of God that is given the power of creative thinking and through this thinking they are able to do a lot of creative tasks. This creative thinking can be from the past, present and future and can relate to anything which the person dreams about. For instance this thinking can be about what is the purpose of coming to this world? What can I give to this world and what best I can do for people? And questions like these can help you drive your vision or dream which you want to fulfill.
One could learn about its strength and weaknesses by searching his personal history in the past in which he has a number of experiences that caused him difficulties and obstacles in his way of success. From this past experiences the person could learn not to repeat his mistakes in future and to use his weaknesses as his strength. This is common thinking of every person that he looks into his past and gets out his mistakes but one thing that differentiates entrepreneur is that he accepts his past mistakes positively and continues with his present and future in the right direction so that his past shadows do not affect his dreams of future
Moreover accepting the reality of the present situation of what you are, what you have, what you do not have, what you enjoy and what you cannot enjoy. Thinking about your duties and responsibilities and for the purpose you came to this world all leads to the attributes of becoming an entrepreneur and these attributes are not the one which are only present in people who are highly intelligent or intellectual. These qualities are inborn in every human being all you need is to polish them in an appropriate manner
It should be kept in mind that only those people succeed who have belief in their dreams and this belief is so strong that no one can shake it from his words or it cannot be affected by the past experiences of the person. Having a positive approach for the future and thinking optimistically is the right way for achieving your dreams and it opens up more opportunities for you. Thus it is now very clear that our past, present and future are all very interlinked and it can be controlled in the manner we want. If we take our past experiences in a positive way then it will definitely lead to positive future whereas on the other hand if we make our past experiences have an impact on our present and future life then you cannot achieve your dreams and entrepreneurship is the same thing as how you deal with different issues positively.

Entrepreneurs are self-motivated. They have an attitude of getting things done as early as possible. They work hard and continuously for hours and hours and always think about the next steps to be taken in order to reach their destination.
Mistakes are something that is done by all but one should try to learn from those mistakes, same goes for entrepreneurs they are always willing to learn from their mistakes. They recognize what went wrong from them, then learn how it should have been done and next time take care and comes with a wiser and more appropriate decision having lesser or no chance of mistakes this time. They are not reluctant to accept the responsibility of any failure as they know it takes courage to take risky decisions and taker greater courage to accept the responsibility of that failure. Such attitude of them takes them nearer to success.
Emotional intelligence and a nice personality is what which is required the most while you are engaged in any sort of business communication. Making yourself more approachable to the people will help you in building your relationships stronger. As when you start a business you have to have good relations with your network, alliances, consumers, bankers, suppliers, and employees.
Another factor which is necessary to be in an entrepreneur is the ability to sacrifice. Being creative, having the ability to convey your message to others either verbally or in written form, ambitious and goal-oriented is essential for an entrepreneur. One should know what he is doing and what he wants to achieve. The goals should be clear. One should have ability to understand other’s nature so that he can make his strategies according to those individuals and can get maximum output out of those individuals. Dependency, self-persistency and determination are the keys to the way of success and achievement.
All these factors comprise to make a whole package of the main features of a successful entrepreneur, one need to have these qualities in order to face all the hindrances that come along in the road of success.
